life is an attempt to make you feel naive and death is an attempt to make you feel humble. when do i get to enjoy myself? and should i address this to God, even if he isn’t there?

What is it that you attempt to enjoy or is everything solely for the purpose of testing and torturing you?
What about that quaint old saying “life is what you make it” not saying that is an answer but more of maybe you can make life what you want!
